It’s a great fit and very practical – wood framing has become the structural system of choice for mid-rise
residential construction for very good reasons! In this webinar we will review the all-wood framing of
Summer Street Apartments, including how it compares to ‘podium’ construction.

We’ll look at code requirements, cost considerations, and other factors in selecting the system. We’ll also discuss the
implications of off-site panelization and the coordination demands it places on the design and construction
team. Lessons learned will include interface with the ground-improvement system discussed in Session 3.
