  • NAAB-Accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture (B.Arch/M.Arch)

KITE Architects is currently seeking applicants for the position of Part-time Office Administrator and Bookkeeper.

KITE Architects is a Rhode Island-based architecture firm focused on human-centric design of the built environment. The ideal candidate will have prior administrative and bookkeeping work experience, proficiency in Quickbooks Online and Microsoft Excel, and strong communication and math skills. General administrative support will require proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, strong oral and written communication skills, and strong organizational skills. Experience with professional service firms is a plus.

Bookkeeping duties will include preparation of invoices, tracking of expenses and income, reconciliation of accounts, participation in regular meetings and communications with staff, and client communication regarding payments.

Administrative responsibilities include editing of legal documents, communication with vendors, scheduling meetings, and other tasks as-needed.

The position is expected to be 20 hours per week on-site at our location in Providence. Schedule is flexible. Compensation is $24-28/hour dependent on experience.
