KITE Architects is excited to announce our recent purchase and renovation of the One Central Street studio space in the Pearl Street Lofts! Having leased in the building since 2013, the expansive studio is nearly triple the square footage of our previous space and reflects the modern and innovative design that the firm has become known for.
We are proud to now permanently call Central Street home and celebrated the important moment in KITE’s legacy with a grand opening on June 27th. Marking the occasion, Governor Gina Raimondo addressed the crowd with a message emphasizing the value of investing in our local West End community as well as in the City of Providence and the State of Rhode Island.
As a community-based architecture firm with a practice in Providence stretching over 40 years, the majority of KITE’s built work is within Rhode Island. This continued development along with our recent purchase reflects our commitment to contributing to our local community, as well as a belief that great design should take inspiration from local traditions yet be unafraid to envision a bright future!
