Albert Garcia Receives Marvin’s Best Remodel 2016 Award

Congratulations are in order for our Principal Albert Garcia who has been awarded Best Remodel in the Marvin Windows and Doors Architects Challenge 2016 for the renovation of a Prospect St, Providence residence! Albert, whose project was chosen from a pool of 169 architectural projects nationwide, accepted the award in a ceremony hosted by Marvin at the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Convention in Philly.

Located in the heart of College Hill, this residential renovation project is surrounded by historic residences, as well as Brown University and Rhode Island School of Design. The project involved the complete interior and exterior renovation of a former residence that can be best classified as contemporary styled home typical of 1970’s era suburban developments. Complete renovations transformed the existing structure into a residence in keeping with the quality and character of the surrounding neighborhood, while maintaining the overall modern spirit of the original residence.
